SENIORS FITNESS

TAI CHI

Wednesday from 10.15am

Grandmaster Gary Khor is the founder/president of the Feng Shui Academy of China and the Australian Academy of Tai Chi and Qigong. Often referred to as the "Father of Tai Chi in Australia’’, Gary has trained more than 1,000 instructors and taught more than 200,000 students in the last 29 years. Branches of the Academy are spread throughout Australia.

Booking is required to attend a class.  

POKER

Tuesday | Registration from 6.30pm games start 7.30pm

Free entry with $500 in cash prizes to be won (1st $250, 2nd $150, 3rd & 4th $50 each). Plus, every 3 months there is a $500 end of season prize. Registration is from 6.30pm with a 7.30pm start. Everyone is welcome!

Australian Poker League (APL) will be operating under their COVID Aware Guidelines. If you plan to attend it is important you take the time to read these guidelines.

CONCORD COMBINED PROBUS

Second Monday of each month at 2.00pm

Concord Combined Probus provides retirees the opportunity to join together to progress healthy minds and active bodies through social interaction and activities with fellow retirees from your local community.

The Concord Combined Probus is open to new members. So, if you’re interested in meeting fellow retirees, listening to interesting speakers and joining together in social activities, come and join us at our meetings and afternoon tea.

MAHJONG

Friday from 6.30pm

Mahjong is a tile-based game that was developed in China during the Qing dynasty and has spread throughout the world since the early 20th century. Mahjong is now being played every Friday evening at the club. If you are a seasoned Mahjong player or would simply like to try it out come along to the club. Registration is from 6.30pm with games starting at 7.30pm.

Prizes range from $20 to $200 with a total prize pool of $500. To play Mahjong you will need to become a member of Asia Pacific Mahjong. Normal member and visitor entry conditions to the club apply.  

BINGO

Bingo has been postponed until further notice.

Monday evening from 6.30pm and Wednesday from 12.30pm

Join us for Bingo and enjoy the fun every Monday evening from 6.30pm and Wednesdays from 12.30pm. Books are $2.50 each. Prizes are Woolworths vouchers. 

CEROC DANCING

Ceroc has been postponed until further notice.

Every Thursday night from 7.30pm

Heard of Ceroc Dancing? Hailing from France, it’s a smooth partner dance combining a modern Jive, ballroom and swing moves, and it’s on at Canada Bay Club every Thursday night. No need to bring a partner (but you’re very welcome to) and get ready to move around the dance floor to our fun, upbeat music. Whether you’re a beginner or a dancing veteran, there’s room for everyone. Cost is $18 for three hours of fun.

Sunday Mornings at Barnwell Park

Inner West’s top golf club Barnwell Park is right next door to Canada Bay Club. Every Sunday morning, a team from Canada Bay Club hits the greens and plays a round at this waterside spot. Head to Canada Bay Club’s reception to discover how to join the club’s team.

MENS INDOOR BOWLS

Mens Indoor bowls has been postponed until further notice.

Mondays from 7.30pm

Escape the vagaries of the weather by playing indoor bowls with Canada Bay Club’s team. Head to the club’s reception to discover how to join the Men’s Indoor Bowls team that plays its rounds every Monday night from 7.30pm.

STRATHFIELD BRIDGE CLUB
