Take the stress out of Christmas Day and book into The Brasserie for a wonderful Christmas lunch. Celebrate with family and friends and enjoy a four-course Christmas feast. Our menu offers classic Christmas fare with a special menu for children aged 2 to 12 years, children under 2 years are free. We are also offering a vegetarian menu. Adults $84.90 per person, children $25 ages 2 – 12 years (special children’s menu) and children under 2 years are free. Bookings are available from 11.30am. Bookings and pre-payment are essential at club reception.


Tuesday 31st December from 7pm

Join us for a magical evening of celebration amongst friends as we see in the New Year together! Our Gala Dinner is $99 per person and includes a four-course menu, a flute of chilled sparkling wine on arrival plus unlimited soft drinks and mineral water provided all evening. Self-serve freshly ground espresso coffees and a selection of indulgent teas will also be available.

Festivities begin at 7pm when the doors open. There will be live entertainment which will help you dance the night away and Sydney’s famous New Year’s Eve fireworks will be broadcast live on our big screens. Every guest will enjoy deluxe party favours to get you in the party spirit.

Bookings and pre-payment are required by Friday 20th December 2019 at club Reception.


Friday 6th December from 7pm

Tim Tszyu will fight Jack Brubaker in what promises to be a high-action super-welterweight showdown at the International Convention Centre in Sydney. Join us in the Sports Lounge for all the action from 7pm.


Sunday 15th December from 2pm

The card features a trio of championship bouts and is shaping up all around to be one of the best shows of the year. Welterweight champ Kamaru Usman will take on top challenger Colby Covington. Plus, featherweight champion Max Holloway returns to action when he battles top contender Alexander Volkanovski in the co-main event. In the third title fight on the stacked card, two-division champ Amanda Nunes puts her featherweight title on the line against Germaine de Randamie.

Wednesday 18th December from 7pm

After a huge upset in Bendigo, Jeff Horn is returning home to Brisbane where he previously defended his world title at the BCEC, Southbank. Looking for redemption against his now rival Michael Zerafa on Wednesday, 18th December. Michael Zerafa has well and truly put world boxing on notice by beating the Hornet in a KO victory earlier this year. Watch all the action in the Sports Lounge from 7pm.


Friday from 1pm

Mahjong is a tile-based game that was developed in China during the Qing dynasty and has spread throughout the world since the early 20th century. Mahjong is now being played every Friday at the club. If you are a seasoned Mahjong player or would simply like to try it out come along to the club, there are two sessions every Friday. Registration for the afternoon session is from 2pm with games starting at 3pm. Registration for the evening session is from 6.30pm with games starting at 7.30pm.

Prizes range from $20 to $200 with a total prize pool of $500. To play Mahjong you will need to become a member of Asia Pacific Mahjong. Normal member and visitor entry conditions to the club apply.  


Monday evening from 6.30pm and Wednesday from 12.30pm

Join us for Bingo and enjoy the fun every Monday evening from 6.30pm and Wednesdays from 12.30pm. Books are $2.50 each. Prizes are Woolworths vouchers. 


Every Thursday night from 7.30pm

Heard of Ceroc Dancing? Hailing from France, it’s a smooth partner dance combining a modern Jive, ballroom and swing moves, and it’s on at Canada Bay Club every Thursday night. No need to bring a partner (but you’re very welcome to) and get ready to move around the dance floor to our fun, upbeat music. Whether you’re a beginner or a dancing veteran, there’s room for everyone. Cost is $18 for three hours of fun.
