UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones will defend his belt against Dominick Reyes at UFC 247 in Houston's Toyota Center. The two-time champ has defended the belt twice since winning it back on Dec. 29, 2018, against Alexander Gustafsson. Reyes is coming off a first-round knockout win over ex-middleweight champion Chris Weidman. Watch all the action in the Sports Lounge from 2pm.

Mahjong is a tile-based game that was developed in China during the Qing dynasty and has spread throughout the world since the early 20th century. Mahjong is now being played every Friday at the club. If you are a seasoned Mahjong player or would simply like to try it out come along to the club, there are two sessions every Friday. Registration for the afternoon session is from 2pm with games starting at 3pm. Registration for the evening session is from 6.30pm with games starting at 7.30pm.

Prizes range from $20 to $200 with a total prize pool of $500. To play Mahjong you will need to become a member of Asia Pacific Mahjong. Normal member and visitor entry conditions to the club apply.

Join us for Bingo and enjoy the fun every Monday evening from 6.30pm and Wednesdays from 12.30pm. Books are $2.50 each. Prizes are Woolworths vouchers.

Heard of Ceroc Dancing? Hailing from France, it’s a smooth partner dance combining a modern Jive, ballroom and swing moves, and it’s on at Canada Bay Club every Thursday night. No need to bring a partner (but you’re very welcome to) and get ready to move around the dance floor to our fun, upbeat music. Whether you’re a beginner or a dancing veteran, there’s room for everyone. Cost is $18 for three hours of fun.

Grandmaster Gary Khor is the founder/president of the Feng Shui Academy of China and the Australian Academy of Tai Chi and Qigong. Often referred to as the “Father of Tai Chi in Australia”, Gary has trained more than 1000 instructors and taught more than 200,000 students in the last 29 years. Branches of the Academy are spread throughout Australia.

The last class for 2019 is Wednesday 18th December with classes resuming 22nd January 2020.
