The grand opening of Canada Bay Phoenix Chinese Restaurant on Wednesday, August 28th, was a vibrant celebration of community. The new establishment, the fifth in the Phoenix Restaurants group and the first nestled within the prestigious Canada Bay Club, welcomed a crowd eager to support the new restaurant.

The official opening ceremony, graced by the presence of Canada Bay Mayor Michael Megna and Canada Bay Club President Frank Failla alongside the club’s board of directors, marked a significant moment. Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, a captivating Dragon Dance ceremony filling the air with energy and tradition. The dance, symbolising good fortune and prosperity, resonated with guests as they watched the majestic creatures put on an entertaining show of both theatre and acrobatics.

Anita Fung, CEO and Founder of Phoenix Restaurants, beamed with pride. “We are thrilled to bring the Phoenix experience to Canada Bay Club and become a part of this vibrant local community,” she expressed. “The turnout was fantastic, and we are excited to welcome everyone to enjoy our delicious food and exceptional service.
