After more than three decades of serving Canada Bay Club members with delicious Chinese cuisine and warm hospitality, Baysia Chinese Restaurant is saying farewell. Mr. Lau, the restaurant’s owner and a pillar of the local community, has announced his retirement.
“It’s with warmest regards that we say thank you to all the members and community that supported our restaurant for decades. Your messages of appreciation have touched our hearts. Serving you and helping you create beautiful memories has been a privilege. We thank the Board of Directors for their ongoing support and encouragement of our business over many years. Time has come to retire and spend more time with family, but we leave behind a thriving Club in strong leadership hands. We wish the Canada Bay Club Board and CEO continued success and hope to see the members around the club and in the Community”says Mr. Lau.
Baysia has become synonymous with exceptional food and impeccable service. Mr. Lau is known for his dedication to using fresh, high-quality ingredients and creating authentic Chinese dishes that have delighted patrons for years.
“We are incredibly grateful to Mr. Lau for his dedication and service to the Canada Bay Club and the surrounding community,” said Frank Failla, President. “Baysia has been a cherished institution for countless members and local residents, and we will miss their presence dearly.” Club CEO, Joumana Jacob, added “Thank you, Mr. Lau, for over 30 years of delicious food and for bringing the community together”.
While Baysia’s chapter at Canada Bay Club comes to a close, the memories created within its walls will undoubtedly endure. We wish Mr. Lau all the best in his retirement and extend our heartfelt gratitude for the joy and deliciousness he has brought to our community for over 30 years.’
